Nancy R. Steer (“Nan”) is an experienced civil litigation attorney and skilled legal writer.
Ms. Steer was a charter class member of Belmont University College of Law in Nashville, Tennessee, and she graduated from Belmont Law in 2014. Following law school, Nan began her practice as a civil litigation attorney and has worked in that capacity since then. She primarily focuses her practice on legal research and legal writing, which she has found to be both rewarding and challenging. Ms. Steer has found that legal writing is her passion in the law, and she prides herself on her ability to craft compelling, articulate legal arguments for her clients.
Nan is licensed to practice in both Tennessee and Kentucky, and she is admitted to all federal district courts in those states, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. She is a member of the Tennessee Bar Association, Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association, and Kentucky Bar Association.
