Toby Wilson

Attorney (Admission Pending)

Toby Wilson is part of McWherter Scott & Bobbitt's first-party insurance team. He comes to MSB after completing his legal education at Belmont University College of Law, where he served as a Student Ambassador.  Before law school, Toby spent five seasons as a kicker for the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where he earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees.  During his undergraduate studies, Toby was recognized as a Volunteer of Distinction, an honor for academic achievement among graduating student-athletes.

While in law school, Toby gathered practical knowledge through internships, working with both an insurance defense firm and the Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands. At MSB, Toby will combine his passion for helping others with his relentless work ethic to assist insureds with improperly denied and/or underpaid property insurance claims. Through this, he seeks to even the playing field of insured versus insurer.

Toby is a lifelong Tennessean and a proud Tennessee Volunteer who spends his time outside the office with family and friends, on the golf course, or in the stands at local games.
